1、 知识与能力
⑴听懂、说出、认读本课中出现的与谈论业余活动有关的词汇。
⑵区别often与 sometimes,并能正确运用。
⑶初步学会介绍自己和询问别人的业余活动。
2、过程与方法
通过情景设置与调查访问等方法,让学生在情景中整体感知所学语言的音、形、义并联系自己的实际生活进行学习和运用。在学习新知识过程中联系旧知识,让学生体会一定的学习方法。
3、情感态度与价值观
通过小组合作、调查访问等活动,激发学生学习英语的兴趣,培养学生综合运用语言能力。

⑴感知、理解频度副词often 与 sometimes的差别
⑵感知、理解spare time.
⑶联系实际生活简单谈论业余活动。

五、教材分析:
本课是《小学英语》第六册(川人版)第九单元第17课《 What do you do in your spare time 》的第一课时。教学内容是询问业余活动。教师可以通过设置相应的情景,组织引导学生在情景中初步学习、理解和运用这些语言。
六、学生情况分析:
本节课的教学对象是五年级学生,他们在英语学习方面已具备了一定的听、说、读的基础和理解能力。部分学生达到了一定程度的语言表达能力和英语思维能力;学生在学习中好表演、善思考。同时,学生已学习了一些关于活动的词汇,因此,教师在教学中应从学生已有知识入手,通过创设一定的情景,引导学生理解相关词汇和进行初步的调查访问,并在此过程中学习和运用语言。
七、教学过程:
Step1: Warming up
1、师生简单问候。
2、Let’s chant .
Run , run , I can run. Swim , swim , I can swim.
Dance, dance,she can dance. Play, play, He can play ping pong .
Play, play, we can play computer.
Watch TV , watch TV , Oh Year!
(设计意图: 通过师生问候和chant 在上课伊时,营造一种轻松、愉快的学习气氛。同时通过chant 让学生感知今天的学习内容与活动有关。)
Step 2: Presentation
一、课件呈现姚明打篮球的照片,并通过问题进行相关讨论。
1、T: Who is he ? / What is he doing?/Can you play basketball?
Do you play basketball every day?
请1-2名学生回答。根据学生回答,教师继续引导学生思考:
2、T: We know ,Yao ming plays basketball very well, why?
请学生思考后回答,对学生的回答,教师不作肯定或否定回答。
3、出示姚明的一周日常生活和训练表,引导引导学生观察,引出本课重点理解词汇:often

1、课件出示下棋图片,在师生问答中引导学生初步理解词汇含义。

T: (再次出示Yuesijia时间表): Yuesijia often plays the piano, but sometimes she plays chess too.

2、在复习中引出词汇:skate

Ss: No . She is skate.
4、T教学skate.
T:Look at Yuesijia’s time schedule again. From Monday to Friday, she goes to school. In her spare time, she often plays the piano, but sometimes she plays chess with her father. Sometimes she watches TV. What do you do in your spare time?
5、T 板书并教学核心句型: What do you do in your spare time?
引导学生理解词汇spare time: I am a teacher. From Monday to Friday, I go to the school. In the evening, on Saturday and Sunday I am free, so I can play ping pong ,watch TV, go shopping and so on. 1、听磁带,感知课文内容。教师出示课文相关简单提问,让学生带着问题感知课文。
2、跟读。并回答问题:

3、小组内分角色读课文。
4、教师与一学生进行相关对话示范练习。
5、学生自由组合运用本课主要句型创编小对话。
6、学生表演小对话。
7、出示表格,引导学生在课后用表格调查自己的父母、亲友的业余活动。
